Quizno’s Street Dancer Busted For Bridge Performance

Big Jeremy was just dancin’, doin’ his job when he gets busted for disorderly conduct?? If that’s the case I know of a huge tomato (Fazoli’s), a Roman Emperor (Lil’ Caesar) and the Statue of Liberty (some Tax place), all of who dance their pants off on Dixie, that long black highway Chris Knight so eloquently waxes about, that need to be locked up. JEEZ!!! LET THE MAN DANCE!!!!!!

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky.Jeremy Johnson says he was dancing on the top rail of a bridge in Hopkinsville, but drivers below thought he was going to jump and called police.

Johnson’s job is to advertise Quizno’s by dancing on the roadside near the Pennyrile Parkway while holding a sign for the sub shop.

The Kentucky New Era quoted Johnson saying he was taking a break Saturday and was rolling a cigarette when drivers honked and waved at him.

Johnson said he lighted his cigarette and started dancing on the rail in response.

Police didn’t join in the dance. They cited him for disorderly conduct.

Quizno’s manager Rebecca Weaber said Johnson was doing his job and is still employed. She hopes he was holding his sign, but wasn’t sure.

Also, this gives me the opportunity to post in remembrance of maybe the greatest advertising campaign in history, the Quizno’s rat beasts….

We love the subs
Subs are a dollar off
When you bring in a coupon
For things to eat
Or oil changes
For pony rides
Or for hair plugs
Any coupon works
Beware of paper cuts
The Quizno’s Subs
THEY GOT A PEPPER BAR!!!
