6-Year-Old Named Falcon Flying Solo in Helium Balloon Over Colorado

Some breaking news here as the ongoing saga of Falcon, the 6-year-old son of storm chaser Richard Heene, continues to unfold thousands of feet above the Colorado ground in an experimental helium balloon. Apparently right now there are sheriff cars and a helicopter just following the balloon as they decide how to bring it down. It appears they have two thought processes right now, (A) shoot it down or (B) hover over it with the helicopter and push it down using the downward air flow….
Hopefully they get this kid down and to safety, all he is prolly doin’ is reenacting the awesomeness that was/is the 1986 Walt Disney classic Flight of the Navigator. By the way, Paul “Pee Wee Herman” Reubens was the voice of Max in that flick… just made it awesomer….
