Who Deys Win, Top Chiefs 16-6

Wink and Bobby E. are out of town to spend some “alone time” together, so Guy Smiley and I are handling things here at the Pinkie. The Who Deys finished the year on a positive note by beating the Fighting Herm Edwards of Kansas City 16-6 to finish the season at 4-11-1. The Bengals, who looked pretty much like a poorly organized high school football team for the most of the season, finished their season with three consecutive wins to perhaps save Marvin Lewis’ job for the time being.

Cedric Benson looked like he was back at Texas with 111 yards on the ground with a touchdown. The “Golden One” Shayne Graham connected on three field goal attempts to bolster the scoring. Even with the season finally complete, the Bengals still have much work ahead of them. They need to hire a general manager, decided on Marvin Lewis’ fate, and formulate a general direction for the franchise. Wink will get into all of that at a later date.
