Chumps vs. Yumps: Week 4 Predictions

The Yumps look to make up some ground this week. Things kickoff at noon tomorrow as South Florida and Florida State meet at Doak Campbell Stadium where the Bulls will be without Matt Grothe, the Big East career leader in total offense with 10,875 yards (who tore the ACL in his left knee in last Saturday’s 59-0 win over Charleston Southern and will miss the rest of the season) for the first time in four years. USF has won four strait over ranked opponents and will look to make it five.

Then an epic ACC showdown in Blacksburg gets underway at 3:30pm ET as Virginia Tech hosts the resurgent Hurricanes of Miami, in what basically amounts to a battle of Top Ten teams (No. 9 vs No. 11).

The Urban Meyer/Tim Tebow show rolls into Lexington at 6:00pm ET, and no one on the Pinkie staff had the guts (ignorance) to take the Wildcats in what would be a monumental win for the program. Louisville will kickoff in Utah at 7:30pm ET and then Iowa starts in Happy Valley against Penn State at 8:00pm ET. Iowa ruined PSU’s perfect season last year and hasn’t lost since, winning seven strait by nearly 18.0 points per game.

Here are the Pinkie’s Picks:
