Chumps vs. Yumps: Week 3 Predictions

Well, I knew I was gonna be separating from the pack one direction or the other, unfortunately for me it was the other….

So (1) South Carolina being unable to convert basically a 1st-and-goal from the 11 yard line with under a minute to play in Georgia, (2) USC’s Pete Carroll going for it on fourth and goal combined with Tressel’s kickin a FG from the inside the one yard line (WHAT. PRUNES.) and then USC’s monster drive to end it with a TD with 1:05 to play, (3) Tate Forcier sending Charlie Weis to the buffet table with a TD with 0:11 seconds remaining, (4) UCLA going into Neyland Stadium and holding on – stopping the Vols on downs with just under two minutes to play on the 26 yard line, and (5) Oregon stopping a two-point conversion attempt by Purdue with 1:01 to play all added up to send me to a mighty impressive Oh-Fer-Five last week.

Guy looks to continue his run of two strait 4-outta-5′s and the Yumps will be looking to forge in front, trailing by just 5 points overall.

This week we kick off with (14) Georgia Tech playing their second strait Thursday night game, this time at Dolphin Stadium against The U. Miami has lost four straight against Georgia Tech, matching its longest skid in the series, but hopes to pull out the victory and return the program to the national spotlight once again.  This game looks like it will have a big impact on the Chumps Vs. Yumps standings as well, as all six Chumps took the Hurricanes, with the Yumps siding with the Yellow Jackets…
