Chumps vs. Yumps: Week 1 Results

Opening weekend of college football is complete.  The ‘Cats rolled, the Cardinals struggled against the nation’s worst team, BYU upset the Sooners without Sam Bradford and Florida State and Miami actually put up some points.

I loved BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall’s interview after the 14-13 win over Oklahoma. The man was all business. Smile, you just beat the #3 team in the country.

Each and every week, the Pinkie Squad will compete amongst themselves to see who is the best prognosticator of games.  We will also compete against Katie and Leah, of Local Yump Stardom, in the  Chumps vs. Yumps Challenge.  Because there are six of us and only two of them, we will get a point for each correct predict, the yumps will receive three points.

Guy and Rohrer led the way this week with four correct predictions, they both missed the BYU upset, as did everyone else.  Also, after week one the Chumps hold a 19 to 15 point advantage over the Yumps.
