Seattle, WA – Perhaps Mike Blowers ought to visit Vegas soon, given his predictive powers displayed Sunday during the Seattle Mariners broadcast from Toronto.
In the KIRO radio pregame program, Blowers — the former Mariners third baseman — suggested this would be the day Matt Tuiasosopo hit his first big-league home run. He then went on to predict a second-deck shot … in his second at-bat … on a 3-1 count … off a fastball.
And, wouldn’t you know it, Tuiasosopo delivered as if on cue, exactly as Blowers had called it.

Here is the prediction from Blowers and then Dave Niehaus’ call of the home run during the game. When the count becomes 3-1 they both become anxious and when he lifts it deep to left, they both start cracking up, uncontrollably.
