Mangino’s anger management inappropriate now that Jayhawks are losing

After being thought of over the past few years as the second greatest person in the state of Kansas behind Bill Self, Kansas University football coach Mark Mangino has come under fire this past week because he is apparently an insensitive meanie. No one in Lawrence seemed to mind when planet Mangino’s tactics were resurrecting the Jayhawk football program from the dead, but now that the team has dropped five strait, he is being deemed a full-blown asshole by former players and fans alike. Apparently, Jayhawk football players are cool with verbal jabs and fighting against their own basketball team, but really get their feelings hurt when the ‘Revolting Blob’ starts in on them during practice.
This is Mangino’s eighth year in hell Lawrence, and he is the first coach to have a career winning record with the Jayhawks since 1966. ‘Lord Lard’ won four ‘Coach of the Year’ awards in 2007 after leading the Beakers to a 12-1 record that included an Orange Bowl win over Virginia Tech. This was the year that Kansas somehow snuck in the back door of the Orange Bowl over a Mizzou Tigers team that had beat KU in the final regular season game (I’m still bitter). This season, Kansas was projected to be one of the top dogs in the Big 12 North, but their current skid has left Mangino and the fan base more crabby than usual. Here are some reasons why Mangino and the folks in the Sunflower state may not be getting along:

Mangino has bigger problems than boogers.
- His rotundness is starting to affect the area’s gravitational pull
It’s kind of like the sun, only the sun only emits one-half the heat. If you look closely at a Mangino picture sometime, you may see small children in orbit around him.
- Jayhawk fans mistakenly developing expectations for football program
After only going to eight bowl games in their entire existence before Mangino landed, you would think KU fans would just be thankful they had a coach keeping them competitive. Besides, everyone knows that Lew Perkins and the athletic department spends all of their money paying the best recruits to come play basketball in Allen Fieldhouse.
- The all you-can-eat buffets in Lawrence are all going out of business
After courageously beating anorexia, coach Mangino started breaking buffets all across the heartland when he was an assistant under Bill Snyder at Kansas State. Soft serve ice cream has met its match.

[...] After a 6-3 defeat at the hands of mighty North Dakota State, Jayhawk fans are already clamoring for basketball season. Somewhere out there, Mark Mangino is smiling while burying his face in a can of Crisco. Keep in mind that the 1-AA FCS Bison from ND State were 2-9 last year. All we heard about coming into the season was how Gil was cleaning up the Kansas program, but perhaps he needs to bring some of the swearing and ‘mistreatment’ of players back to Lawrence. [...]

Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally confused .. Any recommendations? Bless you!
