Louisville Cardinals vs. Austin Peay Governors Preview, Pinkie Style

On Saturday December 12, 2008 at 1:00 in the pm, the Louisville Cardinals (5-1) return to the Hall of Freedom to take on the Austin Peay Governors (5-2). This is a game Louisville should win easily, but this contest will represent a step up in competition from the previous three teams the Cardinals have played. Austin Peay does have some athletic players, led by some guy named Drake who averages over 20 points per game. I’ll be watching for the intensity level tomorrow for the Cards who have looked somewhat lethargic at times. Louisville will once again have a distinct size advantage, as the Governors do not start anyone over 6-5, though they have three players on the bench at 6-8. Another thing to look for is rebounding. Louisville should dominate on the boards and quite frankly this is a game for Samardo Samuels to get his in a big way since he should not have anyone guarding him with a chance to block his shot. I’ll be in attendance cheering on the Fighting Pitinos and thanking the good lord above I do not have to listen to Ari Wolfe, who is a tool.
Rolf’s prophecy – Louisville 84 Austin Peay 62
