LeBron James is Pretty Good

It appears that LeBron and the Cavs are going to cruise to the Eastern Conference Finals, as they defeated the Hawks 97-82 to take a 3-0 stranglehold of the series. The 2009 M.V.P. has just been an absolute beast and continued yesterday with 45 points on 15-for-25 shooting, 5-for-10 from deep, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Mo Williams and Delonte West each finished in double figures.
Speaking of Delonte, if you haven’t seen his corresponding piece for Jim Rome you need to watch. Here is our link to it. “I got some fried chicken sprinkled in hot sauce, some fruit punch, fresh from getting cut up by the barber and going strait to the photo shoot. How player is that, man?”
Love him. The Cavs are having fun on and off the court and are going to be extremely tough to beat. I just don’t see a KG-less Boston team or Orlando beating them in a seven game series unless they distract them by loading up their locker room with some free kicks. Here is a hilarious videothat the Cavs promotional team put together. It is a parody of the Heineken commercial.
In the other game yesterday, Carmelo Anthony’s last-second three propelled the Nuggets to a 106-105 victory over the Mavericks, also giving them a 3-0 lead. The game was riddled in controversy as it appeared that Dallas tried to foul Anthony, before his last-second heroics, but it wasn’t called.
Following the game, Mark Cuban acted like an idiot and Jerry Stackhouse tried to calm his teammates down. Mentally it has to be tough to have a game taken away from you like that. You go from being down 2-to-1 and back in the series to down 3-to-0 and pretty much done in seconds.
Watch the video below, it is pretty obvious Antoine Wright tried to foul Anthony.
