Dwyane Wade or Paul Pierce?

| June 5, 2012 | 2 Comments

PAULPIERCE!!! Came up with a huge three pointer tonight to help the Celtics take a 3-2 series lead over the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. Pierce and one of Miami’s ‘big three’, Dwyane Wade have both been involved in some pretty odd injury ordeals.

Pierce, channeling Willis Reed, hurt his knee in Game 1 of the 2008 NBA Finals against the LA Lakers and had to be carried off the court by teammates. He returned moments later and went on to win the Finals MVP and lead the Celtics to their 17th World Championship.

Wade, who falls down on every play and somehow still gets calls (see 2006 NBA Finals where he shattered the record for free throws attempted with 97 (NINETY SEVEN) in the six game series) dislocated his shoulder and the arm pain was so great he needed a wheelchair to get off the court.

  1. The Thrill says:

Just couldn’t stay unbias on this could you?

Wade had an actual injury. Sat out for weeks. Pierce had was crying as people carry him away, and able to play minutes later. Pierce should play soccer.

Pierce hurt his knee, his KNEE, and didn’t want to put pressure on it until getting it checked by trainers. Wade hurt his shoulder and couldn’t WALK. Wades a flopper who got a ring due to Sterns hatred of Cuban. Also, Bron Bron is the biggest crybaby of them all. What a loser.
