CHRISTMAS DOES IT AGAIN!!

Temple is still perfect in 2009 thanks in large part to Dionte Christmas and LaVoy Allen.  Allen had 21pts, 6reb, and 5ast, but not to be outdone Fa-Fa-Fa FLOYD CHRISTMAS!! poured in 30 big points on 10-19 shooting (5-13 from downtown) to lead the Owls past one of their Philly Big 5 rivals La Salle, 75-68.  Floyd also grabbed 5 boards and came away with 2 steals.  The Owls are now 8-6 (1-0 A10) and have won three strait since dropping a contest to Villanova back on December 29th.  The competition has dropped their strength of schedule to 16th and their RPI to 36th.  Up next for Floyd and the Owls is another Big 5 rival, they will travel to play the Pennsylvania Quakers Wednesday night at 7pm.
