Weekend Recruiting Updates for Cats/Cards; U of L Commit Coming Soon?

Kentucky

- 2010 forwards C.J. Leslie and Terrence Jones were both in attendance at Kentucky’s Blue/White game this week; Jones is #13 on the Rivals150 List and Leslie follows at #14; Can UK land either or both of these talented players?

- 2010 big man Adreian Payne, who had Kentucky on his final list of schools, chose Michigan State this week; Some have stated that UK slacked off of Payne’s recruitment, but that is not true; the Cats would have loved to have picked up a commitment from Payne

- Brandon Knight, the top-rated player in the 2010 class according to Rivals, is on an official visit to Kansas this weekend; Knight is widely considered to be UK’s top target for next season

- Another top point guard target, Josh Selby, will likely wait until Spring to make a college decision; Selby did cut Baylor from his list during the past week

Louisville

- The big news this week for Louisville is the story today that 2010 PG Russell Smith is likely to commit to the Cards during this visit on Nov. 15 (source: ZagsBlog.com)

- Small forward J.J. Moore enjoyed his Louisville visit, but he still plans to give St. John’s and Pittsburgh a visit; Moore is ranked #107 in the 2010 Class by Rivals.com

- Tobias Harris, the top-rated power forward and #5 overall player by Rivals.com, will visit Louisville Sunday-Tuesday; Harris is also one of Kentucky’s top targets; Harris has announced that he’ll make his college choice on November 19

Eat it Cal… Yea you stole a class from CUSA and that’s it. Recruits are seeing through your BS. Knight will go to UConn, Lamb will be an OU recruit possibly KU and most other 10 recruits sign elsewhere minus Selby whom WWW tampered with and possibly one other PF. Recruiting in the land of the SEC isn’t easy you sleeze ball and your fan base will turn on you faster than Tubby. Never should have left the sanctuary known as CUSA you bum. Go heels!
