Two more quick notes from the article about the Nike World Games that I failed to point out. The first is on CJ Leslie, who said there are two schools that are ahead of the pack at this point: “North Carolina stands out because they just won a national championship,” said Leslie. “Kentucky stands out because it is a great program and my former point guard (John Wall) is there.” It would really be tremendous if UK could grab Leslie. To take the best recruit in North Carolina away from the Heels and Dukies would be amazing.
The second is on Tobias Harris, who confirmed that he had a good visit to UK and that UK is “firmly on his list”. This is good news and it sounds like UK will make the cut when he narrows his list later this month.
