Top UK and UofL target Tobias Harris is coming toward the end of his busy schedule of in-home visits, and ZagsBlog has an update on the proceedings from his father.

Torrel Harris spent most of the first half of the article raving about his visit with West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins and went on to say good things about all of his visitors. Maryland and UConn have yet to stop by, but will have done so by Saturday.

There was some thought that Tobias could make a college decision right after the completion of his visits, but it doesn’t sound like that will be the case:

After the home visits end this weekend, Torrel said the family will “marinate” on the process for a week before cutting the list to five official visits.

“After Saturday we’re gonna marinate on it for a week and then a week later we’re gonna cut it down,” he said. “We’re going to go over everything, ain’t gonna rush it on cutting it down because everyone came in here with a plan. Everybody came in with a plan.”

UK and UofL seem to be well positioned to earn two of his five visits and if I had to guess, I would say that the other three will go to West Virginia, Syracuse, and one more, potentially UConn.

This recruitment doesn’t look like it will end as quickly as we thought, but I think UK and UofL will be in until the end.

UofL, though, is not going to sit on their hands while they wait. UofL is after Moore, Harris, and Rod Odom, and is said to be looking to give a scholarship to the first to commit from this group. It sounds like Harris is not in a hurry to decide, so if Moore or Odom beats him to the punch, UofL would seem to be out of contention for Tobias’ services.  Even though Harris is their top target, I don’t believe they will refuse Moore or Odom if they decide first.
