But let's see if BCG learns from it. I fully expected to get beat by SC after they beat us last time (not this bad though). Imagine if Downey had just remained at Cincinnati then what would SC have? @#$#@! Bob Huggins for screwing that up and getting let go and then Downey leaving for SC. Anyway, every coach deserves 4 years to get "his" players in there and let's see what we have then. It isn't like the rest of them can light up the scoreboard, Liggins dribbles all over the court but cannot score, has as many turnovers as points probably, and I could go on with others. But he needs to get that "chicken sh--" smile off his face, get serious and try and get the players to do their best. Why Meeks stayed on the bench so long is beyond my wildest imagination. If I had been Meeks I would not have gone back in the game. I actually think Gillespie gets so enthralled in the game he forgets who's in the game based on some of his substitutions. He normally subs when they mess up and that's fine, but he sure screwed up with Meeks in my opinion. If Meeks had gotten hot, hit 5-8 from the three line during that 12 minutes on the bench it may have turned into a closer game. He certainly cannot score on the bench.
