Tom Jurich...in happier times

Jerry Tipton is reporting that UofL spokesman Kenny Klein said that UofL Athletic Director will issue an official statement this afternoon “on Rick Pitino’s viability as basketball coach”.

My guess is that Jurich will issue a vote of confidence in support of Pitino. I would be surprised if he says anything different than “Rick was up front and honest about this investigation and this does not affect his status as UofL head coach.”

Stay tuned though, because anything could happen.
