Brohm signs with Bills, placed on active roster

Former Louisville star quarterback Brian Brohm has signed with the Buffalo Bills and will immediately be placed on their active 53 man roster. As we all know, Brian was drafted in the 2nd round by the Packers in the 2008 NFL Draft, but could not beat out the marginal Matt Flynn for the back-up spot. Brohm had been relegated to the Packers’ practice squad recently.

Brian now goes to Buffalo where he will try to beat out the great Ryan Fitzpatrick and even greater Trent Edwards for the quarterback job. When I said ‘great’ and ‘greater’, I actually meant awful and horrible. Brian will also be reunited with former center Eric Wood, who was one of the Bills’ two 1st round pick this past year. It looks like Brian will sport the no. 4 for Buffalo.

From all of us here at the Pinkie, the best of luck to Brian as he tries to restart his NFL career, and not be completely ruined by Terrell Owens.

Go get 'em Brian
