Memorial Day Baseball at Louisville Slugger Field

Come out to Louisville Slugger Field this afternoon to watch the Bats take on the Pawtucket Red Sox at 4:45 p.m. The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a Bats Memorial Day Hat courtesy of WAMZ. Celebrate Military Appreciation Day with the Louisville Bats as they recognize 3,000 active troops. If you are an active or retired military member, receive free admission at the Bats ticket windows.
RHP Ramon Ramirez, who was just optioned back from Cincinnati, gets the start for the Bats. He enters the contest with a 0-3 and a 5.08 era. He will be opposed by RHP Clay Buchholz, who has spent time in Boston. In seven starts this season he has been filthy, compiling just a 2-0 record but a 1.60 era.
Gates open at 3:30 and first pitch is scheduled for 4:45.
