The Temple Owls clawed their way back to .500 (6-6) last night with a 73 – 58 victory over the Golden Flashes of Kent State. Stratpinkie.com Naismith Player of the Year nominee Dionte “Floyd” Christmas poured in 26 points to go with 5 boards and 2 steals. Proving why the RPI makes no sense, Temple (reminder: THEY WON THE GAME) actually dropped to 24th overall whilst maintaining the number 1 strength of schedule in the land.
Naismith Watch: 20.6 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 2.6 apg, 1.5 spg, 42.8 FG%, 77.8 FT%, 40.0 3pt%
