Vic Anderson done for the season

Coach Steve Kragthorpe announced today sophomore running back Vic Anderson will have surgery to repair his injured clavicle. Anderson, who has been hampered by nagging injuries this season, tried to play this past Saturday against South Florida, but could not.
Vic, the 2008 Big East Rookie of the Year, was expected to have a big season, but could not get anything going due to injuries. The Cards last game is this Friday against Rutgers, so to say Anderson will miss the rest of the season actually just means the final game.
Vic will have surgery in order to be ready for Spring practice in 2010. All of us here at the Pinkie wish Vic a speedy recovery and hope to see him back at 100% next season.
