Samaki Walker was the last Louisville Cardinal to be selected in the NBA Draft Lottery, going to the Dallas Mavericks with the ninth pick in the 1996 Draft.
The only other Cardinals to go in the Lottery since its inception 25 years ago are: Pervis Ellison (1st pick, 1989 – Kings) and Felton Spencer (5th pick, 1990 – T’Wolves).
Both Terrence Williams and Earl Clark have Lottery aspirations in 2009.
Here is an awesome art tickle about Earl Clark via TrueHoop.
And Williams just had an impressive workout with the Nets, who have the 11th pick in tomorrow night’s Draft.
Be sure to check in tomorrow as we will have the results of Straitpinkie’s mock draft which will be taking place tonight at 8pm ET.
