McCoughtry Goes #1 in WNBA Draft

Congratulations go out to Louisville forward Angel McCoughtry on being selected no.1 overall in the WNBA Draft today. McCoughtry, selected by the Atlanta Dream, led the Louisville women to the NCAA Women’s Championship game before falling short against UConn. She averaged 22.8 points and 9.5 rebounds this past season and leaves the University of Louisville as the all-time leading scorer in basketball, men’s and women’s.
