Kragthorpe does it again; TX QB Woodley commits

Coach Steve Kragthorpe has a 11-13 record as head football coach of the University of Louisville and is under fire from a large portion of the fan base, but you wouldn’t know that by the way the man is recruiting. With six commitments already for the class of 2010, Kragthorpe has set a record for early commitments at Louisville and he has added to that number with the addition of Texas quarterback Luke Woodley.

Welcome to the 'Ville Luke Woodley

Woodley is a three star prospect according to Rivals.com and nearly committed last month while in town for Louisville’s junior camp, but chose to wait until his parents could see the campus and meet with the coaching staff. Woodley, accompanied with his folks, toured Louisville’s campus today and chose to make it official afterwards. Woodley passed for 3,746 yards with 41 TDs and only 6 INTs while completing over 64% of his passes.  He comes from a good high school program in Texas that ran a sophisticated offense and produced the number 1 pick in the 2009 NFL Draft in Matthew Stafford.
