FBI Officially Charges Sypher

Multiple media outlets, including Howie Lindsey of CardinalSports.com, are reporting the Federal Bureau of Investigation has officially filed extortion charges against Karen Sypher. According to these reports, one of the charges include “lying to the FBI”. I don’t know a whole lot about the FBI, but I’m quite certain they do not like it when someone lies to them. More to come as additional details are released.

Good luck getting that charge to stick. I’m sure it’s based on a polygraph, which Sypher “failed”. I care not to take sides on this the Patino vs. Sypher case since I’m a UK fan, but if the FBI is wanting this to stick, they better be gathering a little more evidence than a polygraph test or else they can expect their charges to be dismissed in a local court.
Fox news seems to be patting themselves on the back quite a bit right now, for not reporting on a story? It really isn’t funny that it’s decided we don’t try Americans for war crimes but if you insult the king of Louisville THEN you are investigated.
isn’t just charged with lying to the FBI. She is being charged with extortion. Apparently, she first demanded cars and tuition for her children, then later asked for $10 million, according the the federal complaint.
She appeared in court but did not enter a plea and was released on her own recognizance.
Sypher’s husband, Tim Sypher, brought Pitino a written list of demands including tuition, two cars of her choice, her house paid off and $3,000 per month, according to the complaint. Those were replaced with the $10 million demand, the complaint said.
It wasn’t clear why she was demanding the money. Court documents say only that Pitino believed it was related to an encounter in 2003.

A friend of mine actually went on a date with the former Ms. Cunigan back before she met Tim. Just from that one date, it was obvious the *^@# was crazy.
And needless to say, there was not a second date.
it really is sad that we are still so sexist as a society. No one even cares to hear what Karen Sypher has to say about that egotistical womanizer Pitino. Its like she never even had a chance, a voice. Let her tell her side of the story… why won’t anyone do that???
