Could Stephan Robinson be the next recruit to join Coach Steve Kragthorpe's Train of Football Pain?

For the record, Robinson states his top two schools are Louisville and Indiana University. He took a trip to IU recently and very much enjoyed himself. In fact, Robinson had IU as his top school as recently as last week after a little confusion over Louisville’s scholarship situation led him to believe there may not be a spot for him. However, Robinson has since talked to Coach Steve Kragthorpe and everything has been cleared up.

Robinson is a very important recruit for the Louisville program for various reasons. He wants to go to Louisville and is a play-maker on the offensive side of the ball. A commitment from Robinson can also help in the recruitment of his Central teammate and top recruit in the state of Kentucky, linebacker Tim Patterson. As if those reasons weren’t enough, we all know Steve Kragthorpe’s job status is very much in the air, but commitments from local stud recruits will very much help Kragthorpe’s case to stay.

Also, Louisville could be closing in on another commitment as speedy defensive back Jerry Cavazos from Mission, Texas has essentially already committed, pending an official scholarship offer from the Cardinals. Cavazos, a three star recruit according to Rivals, tore his ACL last year and the Louisville coaches are currently reviewing his latest film to confirm Cavazos still has all his abilities. The Cavazos family has a long relationship with Kragthorpe and essentially will commit if/when Louisville approves the new film.
