Can the Cardiacs do it again? Can they knock off another #1?

Just over two weeks ago the #1 ranked and undefeated Pittsburgh Panthers came into Freedom Hall and fell 69-63.  Tonight, the Cards go for their second victory over a #1 team this season, against Jim Calhoun’s Connecticut Huskies. If they can keep their guards out of the lane, force them to become perimeter shooters and don’t let Hasheem Thabeet disrupt their offense I expect the Cards to do it.

Knocking two #1′s off in a season is a rare feat.  It has happened eight times in college basketball history.  The C-J put together a list.

The Hall of Freedom will definitely be rockin’ tonight for Big Monday.  For those who can’t make it, Dan Shulman and Dick Vitale will be on the call while Erin Andrews will prance around being hot.
