Bozich: Clark, Williams Lottery Picks?

While Jodie Meeks has apparently been told he will go first round, Louisville’s two NBA hopefuls have Cardinal fans thinking Lotto…
From Rick Bozich’s blog:
Heard former U of L forward Earl Clark worked out for the New York Knicks yesterday. Knicks pick eighth in the June 25 NBA Draft. That seemed high for Clark a month ago, but maybe not today. But Clark was scheduled to work out this morning for the New Jersey Nets, the team that picks 11th. Word is growing that Clark is having a great month and has played his way into the top dozen picks.
Terrence Williams has traveled the globe. He’s worked out at Charlotte, Washington, Chicago, Milwaukee, Golden State, New Jersey and other teams. He is also having a solid month.
How about this quote from Larry Brown about TWill in today’s Charlotte Observer:
“He’s athletic enough, quick enough and comes from a program that preaches that. He has the ability, I think, to be a great defender,” Brown said of Williams. “He’s going to go early in the draft. He plays hard, he passes the ball, he defends and he’ll rebound.”
Charlotte has the 12th pick in the Round One.
Two Cards in the first dozen picks?
Could happen.
