In addition to pouring in 12.7 points per game in his career, Wagner averaged 2.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists during his time at Louisville. He played in 144 career games, second all-time at Louisville, and started 111 times.

Wagner helped guide Louisville to three Final Fours and the 1986 National Championship over Puke. His original senior season was cut short in just its second game, but Milt took a medical redshirt and returned for the Championship season.
