There was some doubt as to his commitment after his father, Carl Henry told 610 Sports Radio's Chris and Cowboy that Kentucky may still be an option. Henry says a recent article in the KC Star painted the family in a bad light and that Xavier had expressed a few weeks ago a desire to play with some recruits committed to Kentucky. Highly touted basketball recruit Xavier Henry told 610 Sports Radio exclusively late Tuesday night “I’m going to Kansas and that’s final.” There was some doubt as to his commitment after his father, Carl Henry told 610 Sports Radio’s Chris and Cowboy that Kentucky may still be an option. Henry says a recent article in the KC Star painted the family in a bad light and that Xavier had expressed a few weeks ago a desire to play with some recruits committed to Kentucky.
