UK football releases depth chart

John Clay just posted an image with the UK football roster for the season opener against Miami.  If you’re having trouble reading the small print, take a look at this link.

There are no big surprises here but it is interesting that Ross Bogue beat out TC Drake at tight end. I had assumed that Drake would win this battle, but Bogue outperformed him during camp.

You’ll also notice that the top 4 receivers are Chris Matthews, Randall Cobb, Gene McCaskill, and Kyrus Lanxter. Chris Low of ESPN just posted about the Kentucky offense, particularly Chris Matthews and the improved receiving corps. This just adds to the anticipation in what will be one of the most close watched debuts of a Kentucky football player in recent memory.
