UK Athletics will hold press conference Saturday morning

From John Clay’s Twitter, which, by the way, is worth following if you aren’t already:
UK Athletics has announced a 10 a.m. press conference for Saturday, but says subject won’t be announced until then.
It’s been a surprisingly busy afternoon with UK news. Even though no formal announcement has been made about the reason for the press conference, there are two popular guesses out there, assuming it is about basketball:
1) The Billy Gillispie buyout has been finalized
2) They will be announcing departures from the basketball team
Whatever it is, it’s probably not good news because good news is not announced on Saturday of a holiday weekend.
At the very least, we will be posting news from the presser, but I am going to see if I can track down another live feed.
One more possibility is that the presser has to do with Jodie Meeks. If he has been getting positive feedback from teams after workouts, he may have made the decision to go ahead and sign with an agent, thereby forgoing his senior year. We’ll see…
