This Guy Plays for Duke

Duke has had some silly looking players in the past. Sheldon Williams’ forehead never stopped, Carlos Boozer looked like a walrus and still does, Cherokee Parks was well Cherokee Parks, the Plumlee twins, and now this guy, it’s 6’10″ sophomore forward Ryan Kelly.

He just looks goofy. Kind of like a buck-toothed rat with Corey Matthew’s hair from that one episode where he tried to straiten his curls.

There isn’t much news today regarding UK athletics with the football team on bye and the basketball squad getting ready to head west, so I figured I’d pick on preseason No. 1 team in the country and defending National Champion, Puke. Makes me sick.

If you’re begging for some real UK news, Mitch Barnhart tweeted this today in regards to speculation that he is looking for another AD job, “We have a lot of unfinished business. I plan to be here to see this great place achieve what it has never even dreamed.”

Also, Perry Stevenson made the cut and will be on the opening day roster with the Tulsa 66′ers in the NBDL. Patrick Patterson and Ramon Harris will play for Rio Grande Vipers. Jared Carter and Shagari “Baby Shag” Alleyne were cut.
