Spring Game Tomorrow

UK will wrap up spring football tomorrow with their annual Blue vs. White scrimmage game. The format will be a little different from years past, but that’s a good thing. Instead of a traditional “draft” method (where there are two teams), the staff has decided to go strictly offense vs. defense. In my opinion, this format will be better for team. It will allow the staff go look at match-ups and put first team against first team and second against first, etc.
In case you missed it, the NFL draft started last night. UK played against several guys picked in the first round and more will go today. Also, John Conner received some love from Mel Kiper Jr. Some UK players could hear their names announced today (Corey Peters). UK will put more guys in the NFL this year than some traditional SEC power houses. Nothing says “come to UK” more to recruits than putting guys in the NFL.
