Mike Davis’ Meltdown vs. Kentucky

The Cats and Hoosiers face off in two days. Leading up to the matchup at Rupp we are going to bring you some the greatest moments in the IU-UK rivalry, in no particular order.

December 21, 2002 – Kentucky 70, Indiana 64
Down 65-64 with under 10 seconds remaining, Bracey Wright drives to the basket and misses a layup on the side of the backboard. Indiana coach Mike Davis, enraged by a foul not being called, runs wildly onto the court before the horn sounds.  He is called for a obvious technical and the Cats make five consecutive free throws to put the game away.  Keith Bogans had 17, Gerald Fitch had 16 and Marquis Estill had 14 for the Cats. The Hoosiers were led by Jeff Newton’s 24.
