Randle1 Julius Randle wins State Championship
6’9” power forward Julius Randle from Texas dropped 40 points and 17 rebounds in the state semi-finals, scoring 40 of his teams 56 points in the game. In the championship game, Randle dropped another 34 points on his way to winning the state championship. His recruitment has been heating up as of late, as well. Some feel he could stay home and go to Texas. They were the favorites in the beginning. Others feel that Bill Self and Kansas can make the late charge and win Randle’s services. The rest could point to Kentucky as Randle’s final destination. The Kentucky staff seems to be confident they will land Randle or Andrew Wiggins, and may be making the push to land both. Randle’s decision is getting very close, could be as early as two weeks.
