John Calipari launches website…well, he tried anyway

I’m not sure if it’s because so many crazy UK fans are trying to log on or what, but the planned launch of much ballyhooed CoachCal.com is not going so swimmingly.

Calipari warned us that this initial period would be a beta phase, but apparently they needed to stay in alpha for just a bit longer.

**UPDATE: The site is now up and running and it appears that they have it loaded with some interesting content. I know I’ll be spending some time on it when I have some free time tonight.

Also, Calipari reported via Twitter that the site had 20,000 hits in 15 minutes, which is honestly kind of depressing for me as a blogger when I compare Strait Pinkie’s hits to Coach Cal’s.**
