Jodie Meeks named Second Team All-American

The United States Basketball Writers’ Association has announced its 2009 All-American team, and Kentucky guard Jodie Meeks has been selected as a second teamer:

This season has been a difficult one for Kentucky Basketball, but as I have said all along, we have to appreciate what we have in Jodie Meeks. Meeks has had one of the great individual season in UK’s illustrious history, and I know I won’t forget it any time soon.

This will be the first of many national honors for Jodie, so congrats to him!
