It’s been a while since the Milwaukee Bucks have looked smart, but it appears that Jodie Meeks is intent on changing that.
Meeks, in an effort reminiscent of his exploits at UK, did everything he could to carry his team to victory, scoring 25 of his 29 points in the second half in an 85-84 loss, the Bucks first, to the Toronto Raptors. Jodie was 12-23 from the field, including 4-8 from long range, also grabbing 4 rebounds.
Meeks last points came on a three pointer to give the Bucks a 1 point lead with 15.4 seconds left before Quincy Douby hit a game winner with just 1.3 seconds left. It was the Bucks first loss of the summer.
Jodie is now averaging 19 points over 5 games and is making a compelling case to be included on the Bucks opening day roster.
