Mark Stoops is continuing make recruiting waves throughout the college football world, specifically in Ohio and Florida. Another Florida prospect has now cancelled his last official visit to Iowa State after visiting the Kentucky campus last weekend. Jeff Badet is a 3-star wide receiver from Orlando, Florida and Kentucky looks to be the favorite to land his services.
Badet labels the ‘Cats as the leader for his recruitment in past interviews because he would be able to come in and play right away. He visited the Kentucky campus after taking a visit to Wake Forest. He says in an interview that he enjoyed his experience in Winston-Salem, but he wants to see other schools. After leaving Kentucky this weekend, he went to his Twitter page to announce that he has decided where he wants to play football for next year. I would believe we could hear something from Badet as early as this weekend. He had 63 catches for 881 yards and 10 touchdowns last season for his Orlando Freedom squad.
Badet’s final list includes Kentucky, along with Iowa State, and Clemson.
