I think what happens this off-season will have just as much to do with his future as anything else. If there's a mass exodus and a bunch of negative news pops up, next year could easily be his last. If he retains most of his players and Gillispie shows some willingness to change, I think he'll get at least three more years.

I think Billy should be afforded the opportunity to stay. Yes he should be to blame for some of the losses this year, and should take accountability for that as a coach in the SEC, and Division 1 basketball, not to mention coaching one of the most storied universities in college basketball history. He is a great recruiter and can bring the type of talent UK used to get (which has lacked in the previous coaching tenure) and in turn will boost the type of play. Lets give him one more year before we ask for his head. Come on Big Blue Nation, rather than harp on poor play of late, lets pick up our players and boot them to the NCAA, and the '09-10 season will be the year of "The Return to Greatness".

GO CATS !!!!

Billy will be back, no matter how the season ends. It's only his second season, but you know he's really gonna feel the pressure now. There gonna give him atleast two more seasons to get the program going again, but if it doesn't happen within the next two years then that will be it.

It is hard to believe that some people do not want him to return. They haven't even given him a chance to turn it around. Billy is a very good coach.
