HMMMM: Memphis signee Dennis added to Derby Festival Classic

From Jody Demling’s blog:
Here’s something fun to chew on as we wait for an announcement:

Memphis University signee Nolan Dennis is one of five players that have been added to the rosters for the WazooSports.com Kentucky Derby Festival Classic.

The 6-foot-5 Dennis is ranked as the No. 47 player in the Class of 2009 by Rivals.com and has signed with the Tigers. But his mother, Carol, told the Memphis newspaper this afternoon that her son has a clause in his letter-of-intent that he could re-open the recruiting process if coach John Calipari left Memphis. So let the speculation run wild.

Kentucky Derby Festival officials said Dennis was added prior to the possibility that Calipari would be coming to Lexington. The game will be played April 11 in Freedom Hall.

This certainly does not amount to an official announcement, but would Dennis be interested in the Derby Festival if he didn’t think there was a pretty good chance his coach might be changing schools.
