Could Memphis signees follow John Calipari?

MEMPHIS COMMERCIAL APPEAL-The mother of one University of Memphis basketball recruit says the letter-of-intent he signed with the school in the fall would allow him to follow John Calipari to another school. The brother of another recruit says no opinion has been formed about the possible departure.

Carol Dennis, the mother of University of Memphis recruit Nolan Dennis, told The Commercial Appeal today that the letter-of-intent her son signed last fall contains an addendum that would allow him to follow Calipari to another school.

Carol Dennis said neither she nor her son had heard from the coaching staff at Memphis about whether Calipari planned on leaving for the University of Kentucky.

This makes you wonder if John Calipari and Memphis made it a habit of including addenda in most of the Letters of Intent of Memphis signees (calling Xavier Henry!!!).

Personally, I hope UK leaves alone guys who already have signed with Memphis. I don’t think that’s the right foot to start off on, and UK’s class for next year is good enough already, plus, John Wall, Eric Bledsoe, and DeMarcus Cousins haven’t signed anything!

The momentum on the recruiting trail that this could bring UK could really be unlike anything we have ever seen, if it goes down and it’s still an ‘if’ (trying to maintain cautious optimism). By the way, word is that there is a UK player meeting scheduled for 4:30 (containing giddiness).

**UPDATE**TigerSportsReport.com is reporting Calipari will coach UK, and that Memphis will pursue Mike Anderson!!!!!!!
