Cobb Announced as Nominee for the 2010 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team

On Tuesday, it was announced that University of Kentucky wide receiver/quarterback/punt returner/ do-it-all-monster Randall Cobb is one of the 112 student-athletes nominated for the Allstate AFCA Good Works TeamĀ®. It is the most ever in the 19-year history of the award. It is often recognized as the, “most prestigious off-the-field honor in college football.”

Cobb is being recognized for his many service accomplishiments which include:

Following a visit with 13 year-old leukemia patient Bradley Wilson, Cobb shaved his head for the his first bowl game as a tribute to the teen.
Mentors local youth, speaking at area schools and visiting patients at regional hospitals.
Served as guest speaker at a Chi Omega Dinner that benefitted the Make-A-Wish Foundation to support terminally ill children.
