CJ’s Jody Demling: UK Football Commitments Update

The Wildcats picked up their 11th commitment last week when Attalla (Ala.) Etowah defensive back Davin Hawkins gave UK a verbal.

Mychal Bailey, SW Mississippi Junior College – Southwest moved to 3-3 on the season with a 35-19 win over Hinds.

Tyler Brause , QB, Bucyrus (Ohio) Wynford – Brause did it all in a 41-13 victory over Buckeye Central. He rushed for 119 of his 149 yards in the first quarter and scored on rushing TD, while throwing for 120 yards and three TDs. He also had a 65-yard interception return for a TD and was named homecoming king.

Teven Eatmon, TE, Buycrus (OH) Wynford – No individual stats for Eatmon but Wynford beat Buckeye Central 41-13.

Joshua Gibbs, S, College of the Canyons – College of the Canyons dropped a 19-16 overtime decision to Allen Hancock.

Davin Hawkins, DB, Attalla (Ala.) Etowah – Hawkins committed to UK last week and then helped Etowah to a 9-6 decision over Scottsboro.

Justin Henderson, DE, Bamberg (S.C.) Erhardt – In a battle of unbeaten teams, Erhardt downed Calhoun County 21-14. Henderson had three tackles, including two sacks.

Joseph Mansour, K, LaGrange (Ga.) – Beat Kendrick 34-0 as Mansour hit four extra points and a field goal. He’s 4 of 6 on field goals this season, including ones of 56, 44, 38 and 26 yards. He has 25 of 30 touchbacks and averaged 43.2 yards a punt.

Tim McAdoo, DT, Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Oakland – McAdoo averages 4.8 tackles a game and Oakland moved to 5-2 after a 45-28 victory over LaVergne.

Malcolm McDuffen, LB, Christian County -McDuffen had seven tackles in a 13-10 victory over Owensboro. He has 48 tackles on the season.

Tyler Robinson, TE, Alcoa (Tenn.) – Robinson’s team stayed undefeated after seven games after a 49-7 win over Kingston.

Raymond Sanders, RB, Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson – No individual stats on Sanders but Stephenson stayed undefeated with a 48-7 win over Luelle.
