Why I Love This Game Part I

It has been a trend lately to hate on the NBA.  “It’s not a team sport,” “They don’t even try til the 4th quarter,” “They’re all overpaid thugs,” “There is no defense.”  Well, I for one don’t believe any of these to be true.  The NBA is slowly climbing its way back into the Jordan/Bird/Johnson era and we at Straitpinkie.com are in full support of its ascension.  We also look forward to playing an instrumental role in one day bringing an NBA team to the great city of Louisville, KY.  This will be the first of two posts today on why I Love This Game (past and present), with the final two pictures of this series being a preview of Part 2.
