Way back in 1621 at the Plymouth Plantation, pilgrims and Indians came together to give thanks to God for helping the pilgrims survive the brutal winter (along with Squanto — who taught them how to hunt and grow corn). The first Thanksgiving feast lasted three days providing enough food for 53 pilgrims and 90 Indians.
