In the coming weeks we will be holding our first ever Yump of the Year contest, with your votes determining our winner. The 2010 Yump of the Year will receive $200 and the instant worldwide fame that will come with such an honor. So keep checkin’ back so you can get your first round votes in, but in the meantime meet Christine from the Crescent Hill Area:
Christine just moved from a small town in Wisconsin to Louisville. She has modeled some in both L.A. and New York, but “I don’t have thick enough skin for that business so I decided to get a real job here in town.”
“So far I am loving Louisville, but I am lacking a strong social circle. I’ve actually been able to meet some people (awkwardly) on Facebook that have shown me a good time. More than anything it seems like Louisville is this big awesome “club” that you have to gain membership to. I’m so anxious to be a part of it!!!!”
1. Cats or Cards? Favorite Player? “This is a trick question since I am really a Wisconsin Alumni, but so far I’d have to say that I am a CARDS fan!!! I get a really good vibe about the athletics here…the new arena looks awesome from the outside…..and I already have a TON of red game gear!”
2. What’s the best/worst pick-up lines you’ve ever heard? “Wow, I have heard my fair share of these. I’d have to say the one where they ask me if I am tired, because I’ve been running through their dreams. I mean NEVER ask a girl if she is tired, it’s going to make her self-conscious if she thinks she is tired looking.”
3. What do you like the most about Louisville? “I’m really just getting to know it. To be honest, I didn’t know much about Louisville or Kentucky before I moved here. It was kind of a leap of faith. But getting to know the people and the community I really like how together everything seems. Plus it is really green and the neighborhoods have a lot of character. I haven’t ventured very far outside of my zone (I work downtown, live in Crescent Hill, and love love love Cherokee & Seneca Park!) but I can’t wait to discover more.”
4. Better invention: the wheel or sliced bread? “Wheel. So many great things have come because of the wheel. Horse and wagon, automobiles! I could go on! Plus I’m not too big on bread, so slicing doesn’t make much of a difference to me!”
5. Favorite cartoon growing up? “RoadRunner. Hands down. Sometimes things are just better without words.”
6. How many pushups can you do? “What’s funny is that I didn’t know until you asked me. So I got down and pumped out 29. My hands are shaking as I am typing this back to you!”
7. Do you have any tattoos? How many/where? “No tattoos. It’s not that I am against them, it’s just that my mother might actually die if I got one. Some women are super attractive with their tattoos.”
8. Which super power would you want to have and why? “Invisible. Think of all of the possibilities. I could sneak in and out of places, be in rooms I wasn’t supposed to be in. It would be neat just to be able to mess with and watch people.”
9. If we looked inside your fridge, what would we find? “This is embarrassing. You’d find bottled water, beer, condiments, turkey, cheese, ham, leftover Chinese and who knows what else. There also may or may not be several bottles in my freezer, contents unknown….but it won’t freeze.”
10. Who would you cast to play you in a movie? “I can’t imagine my life being interesting enough to have me in a movie…..but I get Erin Andrews a lot. But she really isn’t an actress. Who do you think?”
11. Dumb and Dumber: Greatest movie ever or Greatest movie ever? “That John Denver’s full of shit man. it is such a great movie. In high school guys used to borrow their mom’s mini-vans and call them the “Shaggin Wagon”. It never worked.”
12. Mortgage rates have continued to descend to levels not seen in more than a half-century — a seductive 4.58 percent for an average 30-year fixed loan, yet brokers and lenders report the tougher standards force many Americans to not qualify. Do you believe long-term U.S. Treasury bonds, a safe haven during the recession, will eventually lose some appeal, thus lowering their demand and causing their yields to rise, in effect bringing the mortgage plummet to an end or will the debt burdens of European countries continue to drive down Treasury yields, dropping mortgage rates to an all-time low? “Great question for PBS. In my robust experience of house and apartment renting I hope that mortgage rates continue to go lower. And considering all of the news coming out of Europe, the bailing out of Greece and the questionable debt load of other member nations of the EU I’d have to say that Treasury yields will further driven down before rising sometime in the Spring of 2011. Hopefully I’ll have my own mortgage between now and then.
My real question is….after everyone takes advantage of mortgages rates of 4.5% -5.5% who is ever going to move? Or afford to move if rates ever go to 7-8%?”
13. Unicorns – beautiful mythological creatures or terrifying mutant horses? “I like this question better. Terrifying mutant horse.”
14. What’s the first thing you notice about a guy? “Their face. I think you can tell a lot about a person in their eyes and facial expressions. I read where 80% of communication is non-verbal, and I always took that as to mean to trust your instincts. So if I meet a guy/girl and they creep me out, I trust that.”
15. Are you a beer or mixed drink kind of girl? “Both….I’m from Wisconsin. We drink everything we can get our hands on.”
16. How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie-Roll Pop? “Does anyone know the answer to this? I am too impatient to find out.”
17. If you could travel back in time, what’s the first year you are stopping off in? “This would be interesting. I honestly have no idea. I would probably be too scared to go back too far with the first stop in fear that I would never return! It would be cool to go back and see a lot of the turning points in history, but those were also some dangerous times, so it might be one of those things where you should be careful what you ask for.”
18. What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you? “I don’t know if I should share. I was in college (I am sure most people’s most embarrassing story starts this way) and I went to a fraternity formal with a guy I had just started seeing. I wasn’t feeling well, but I didn’t want to stand him up, because I really did like him. So I went and tried to just get through the night and still be me. So after several drinks I told him that I needed to get some air, which he took as a signal that I wanted to be alone. When we got outside, he turned me around and gave me a kiss and I immediately began throwing up all over him, all over me. It was horrible.”
19. Favorite place to eat at 4 a.m.? “Denny’s. Breakfast food is always fantastic late-night.”
20. When you’re out, you tend to dance…on the dance floor or on the bar? “Dance Floor. I like interacting with people, and the few times I have gotten on top of a bar I was so sure I was going to fall and break my neck.”
Turn ons: “Being Genuine/Honest, Creative, Humor, I’m Voyeuristic, Being Open to new things/trying new things”
Turn offs: “PDA, Acting Spoiled or Chauvinistic, I don’t care how much money you have, Bad Kissers”
Favorites:
Food? “Bang Bang Shrimp”
Sport? “Football”
Animal? “Dogs”
Song? “Too many to mention!!! I can’t pick just one”
TV Show? “True Blood”
Movie? “The Hangover (is that cliché?)”
Bar/Club/Hangout? “Here in town I’d have to say O’Sheas (but I admittedly haven’t been everywhere yet).”

how many days you need to collect this photos?
There is no way this girl even has competition. Absolutely stunning.
Think I’m in love.
I can’t even describe how I feel about this girl.
Very cute, looks a lot like Milla Jovovich.
“Sam I am” has some tough competition for the Yump of the Year.
