The #1 Bellarmine Knights continue to impress. The Knights welcomed in the 8th ranked USI Eagles from Evansville and then treated them like an unwanted house guest!
Bellarmine shot 50% (under their season average) from the floor including 10 thee pointers in route to a 67-53 victory. The Eagles turned over the ball 19 times against only 13 Knights turnovers. The go-to scorer, Jeremy Kendle, again led the way with 16 pts and he also pulled down a team high 6 boards. Braydon Hobbs continued his do-everything season by handing out 10 dimes.
Bellarmine takes on KWC in Owensboro on Saturday, which stands to be a huge match-up. Game starts at 8:30pm and I am sure they would like to see you there! We haven’t talked to Coach Davenport, but if we did we would expect him to say, “Thanks for the continued support of Straitpinkie and to show my gratitude I will wear the white suit!”
