Top 5 Fantasy Football Free Agents
1). Mikel LeShoure DET RB - 134 total yards 1 TD
LeShoure is showing the benefits of being the primary back of the Detroit Lions. I would have no fear starting him from here on out.
2). Tashard Choice BUF RB - 99 total yards
With now both CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson going down with injuries, Choice is the go-to back in Buffalo. Should be a solid start until either becomes heatlhy.
3). Heath Miller PIT TE - 60 receiving yards, 2 TD
As stated by Ben Roethlisberger, he plans to get Heath Miller to the Pro Bowl. That means a lot of targets going forward.
4). Daniel Thomas MIA RB - 80 total yards 1 TD
The same situation as Tashard Choice. Until Reggie Bush is healthy, Daniel Thomas will be the feature back in Miami. Expect him to be a workhorse.
5). Arizona DEF - 6 Points Allowed 4 sacks 3 TO
I think it’s safe to say that the Arizona defense is for real and a must add in all leagues. There is not much not to love about this unit. They look stellar at forcing turnovers and at getting sacks. An added bonus is that they have one of the best punt returners in football in Patrick Peterson.
Three Trends To Watch
1). Depending on the severity of the Matthew Stafford injury, Shaun Hill could jump to the top of list of must adds this week. Any quarterback throwing to Calvin Johnson is a solid quarterback to have.
2). If you have Pierre Thomas or Darren Sproles, I would sell high as soon as possible. With their lack of production this week, they are too unreliable to start from here on out.
3). The Bears offense looks as combustible as ever. From the likes of Brandon Marshall, Jay Cutler, and Matt Forte, it looks like figuring out what production you are going to get out of them could change week to week.
